May – Early Intervention Month
Hazel E. Lawler Children’s Center Infant Toddler Program staff promoted May as Early Intervention month by holding a meet and greet at both area libraries. Flyers went home with k-3rd graders in all area schools and posters were put up around the community to help promote this activity and early intervention. Additionally, an article was published in the Virginian Review, and a proclamation was signed at Covington City Hall in recognition of Early Intervention month.
