2016 “Better Together” Fashion Show
On Saturday, March 19, 2016 Alleghany Highlands Community Services hosted the “Better Together” Fashion Show at Clifton Middle School. This event recognized the abilities and contributions of individuals with special needs. Members of our community with developmental disabilities contribute significantly to our schools, families, faith communities and workforce. They have the same desires and aspirations as the rest of society. The purpose of the fashion show was to promote a vision for a more inclusive community. Alleghany Highlands Community Services is committed to bringing about awareness and helping our community achieve a culture where individuals with developmental disabilities are offered opportunities for meaningful involvement and full inclusion in all facets of community life.
